CAPACITY

Your calendar says you are full, but you are not.

Three types of service, managed separately. Set how many jobs of each type your team can run at once.

A detailing shop at dusk: three bays with cars in them, one bay standing empty, and a white van parked out front

Why does the calendar say full with empty bays?

When every service shares one limit, a van on its way to a client and a free bay in the workshop compete for the same place. That is how the booking page shows Saturday as sold out while two bays sit empty. The fix is under Settings → Team capacity, with three separate fields, and each service counts in one of them automatically:

  • In-house detailers, for everything done at the studio;
  • Mobile detailers, for services at the client's location, even when they take several days;
  • PPF / wrap specialists, for PPF and wrap jobs measured in days.
One Friday in the bookings list: a full detail, a ceramic coating, an exterior wash and a mobile job, all on the same day

What number goes in each field?

All three fields start at 0, and 0 means clients cannot book that type of service. For each type your studio does, enter how many specialists can work on it at the same time. Each specialist gives one place per working day, and a PPF or wrap job takes one place for every day it lasts. From then on, the calendar shows each team's real capacity, and one type of service stops blocking the others.

The Team capacity settings: three separate fields (in-house, mobile and PPF / wrap), each with its own number

What about travel time?

That is still yours to plan, because capacity counts places and not distances: leave room between mobile jobs. The travel fee is set on each service, in its own field. To start:

  • open Settings → Team capacity and put a number above 0 only in the types of service you do;
  • open next week in the calendar and check that availability matches your team.

Bookings in, chaos out.
